Dan Husney

Dan graduated from Kent State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. He has been involved in the landscape lighting and irrigation industry for over 30 years. Dan has designed systems on site as well as from architectural prints. His experience includes sales, installation, preventative maintenance and service of lighting systems.

Dan views outdoor lighting systems as an investment to enhance the architecture and landscape of a property, making outdoor spaces more enjoyable and usable at night. A lighting design involves determining
what the client would like to accomplish with lighting, determining the type of lighting techniques that will produce the desired effects, then choosing the appropriate fixtures and lamps.

The system is designed and installed so that it can be easily maintained over time to retain the design intent. Lighting systems should be able to evolve with the landscape and property changes for long term enjoyment.
